March Concentration

This first piece represents broadway dance. It is sort of like a performer looking out at the audience from the stage, because i feel that on stage the audience is a big part of where the performer gets their energy.

This second one is Tango. It is warn colors of the dance and then there are two faces to represent the partnership and the change of emotions in tango.

  1. These are both incredibly beautiful and seem so much more mature than your pieces previous. I like that they've become more abstract but they express a lot more, especially the tango one. I feel like it really captures something about that kidn of dance and I know nothing about it.
you are totally making encaustic work for you
    hooray!

  2. The performer piece is great. It totally feels like you're up on the stage with the white from the lights shining on you.
I love the connection in the tango piece. At first I had a bit of trouble seeing the two faces, but now I can spot them easily. The gradient of the color in this one is nice! You do a great job with these.

  4. i like travis's comment. I totally agree with him. I definitely see progress within your pieces throughout the year. Great job. Your work is probably one of my favorites to see!I can really see your thought process throughout your works of art and it is fun to see the abstractions you use to create art that is expressive and demonstrative of a style of dance. good job
